Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Annie Florine Creasie, 80, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007, at her residence in Lamar, MS. Mrs. Creasie had lived in the Lamar area her entire life. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Collierville, TN. Mrs. Creasie was also a member of the Church Relief Society. Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2007, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Collierville, TN. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Collierville, TN, with Bishop Dan Barton officiating. Interment will be in the John Skelton Cemetery, Lamar, MS. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Creasie is survived by four daughters, Robbie J. Thompson of Memphis, TN, Pat Martin of Lamar, MS, Gail Allen of Ripley, MS, Lynn Rogers of Lamar, MS; two sons, Grady Creasie, Jr. of Olive Branch, MS and Buddy Creasie of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Ala Mae Conrad and Martha Allen, both of Lamar, MS, Dale Kahler of Arlington, TN, Addie Watkins of Barton, MS; three brothers, James Skelton, James C. Skelton, and Howard Skelton, all of Lamar, MS; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Creasie was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Creasie, Sr.; her parents, John and Martha Skelton; one daughter, Martha Ann Taylor; one son, William Creasie; one grandson, Dewayne “Smitty” Hopkins; two brothers, Samuel Skelton and John K. Skelton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Mississippi Chapter, 1900 Dunbarton Drive, Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216
