Anthony "Andy" Wayne Oaks Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Anthony “Andy” Wayne Oaks, 39, of Nesbit, MS passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS). A service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery (8691 Bethel Rd, Olive Branch, MS). Bro. Michael Weeks of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, will officiate. Andy was born on May 10, 1983 in Memphis, TN. He was an electrician at Ham Electric. Andy enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Jessi. He also loved the outdoors and would take Jessi camping and canoeing. Andy was loved by many and will be truly missed. Andy is survived by his daughter, Jessica Kaylin Oaks of Arlington, TN; father, Garvin Durwood Oaks, Jr. of Olive Branch; mother, Susan Kay Busby (Sonny) of Olive Branch; grandparents, Bill and Virginia Sheppard of Horn Lake; one brother, Chris Oaks (Andrea) of Olive Branch; two sisters, Nikki Sanderson (Floyd) and Ericia Marrone of Olive Branch; two uncles, Jimmy Rikard and Jeff Rikard; one aunt, Christine Yates; three nephews, Asher, Caden, and Ethan; and four nieces, Kaitlyn, Emma Grace, Lauren, and Maddy. Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garvin and Dora Oaks. In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Anthony Wayne Oaks to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
