Carol Jean Westerfield

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Carol Jean Westerfield, 61, of Byhalia, MS, passed away on February 1, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Blocker Cemetery (9501 Pigeon Roost Road, Olive Branch, MS). Pastor Roger Mitchell will officiate. Carol was born on June 2, 1960 in Ruleville, MS. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church. Carol loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fish. She was especially proud of her 19 point buck. Carol loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially at large family gatherings. All though she didn't have children of her own, she loved the grandchildren of others. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Carol is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Daniels of Byhalia, MS; brothers, Roger Dale Mitchell (Bonnie) of Sardis, MS, John Edward White, II, (Sandra) of Saulsbury, TN and Carl Dean White of Byhalia; step-children, Dale, Ruby, Lisa, Jennifer, Robert and Aubrey; nieces and nephews, grands, great-grands that she claimed as her own and two former husbands, Ralph Smith and Danny Westerfield. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Hellen Lumley and John Edward White. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Carol Jean Westerfield to a charity of your choice.
