Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Darra Lynn Christman, age 44, died Monday, January 17, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Born in Oxford, MS, she had lived her entire lifetime in this area. Ms. Christman had worked in food service businesses and as an assistant manager at Danvers until she became disabled. Various handcrafts including sewing, cross-stitch, crochet, and paint-by-numbers were some of her interests. She enjoyed watching soap operas. Ms. Christman had attended South Lamar Congregational Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martin Case officiating. Interment will be in the Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her parents, Earl and Annie Kathryn Christman of Oxford, MS; a brother, Eddie Earl Christman of Oxford, MS and a sister, Paula Christman Miller of Oxford, MS.
