Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Debra Connors Moore, 58, of Olive Branch, MS. passed away Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00pm in the chapel with Reverend Glynn Jones as the officiant. Debbie was born on September 18th, 1962 in Memphis, TN. Along with being a devout Christian and a breast Cancer survivor of 16 years, she loved her son Connors (22) and her husband John of 31 years. She was truly a person that enjoyed giving to other people and bringing joy to those she knew or had just met. As much as she loved traveling to many destinations around the country and abroad, her favorite place that held so many memories were at the family cabin on the river in Hardy, Arkansas. Debbie went to Briarcrest High School, class of 1980. She attended Lambuth College where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta and graduated from Memphis State University, Magna Cum Laude in 1984. She had a bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in finance. Debbie is survived by her husband John of Olive Branch; her son Connors Moore of Olive Branch; brothers John Connors (Donna) of Austin, TX and Craig Connors (Virginia) Ocala, FL; Niece, Kate Connors of Austin, TX; Nephew, Jonathan Philips of Memphis; great nephew, Maddox Phillips of Cordova TN; Mother-in-law, Lou Moore of Memphis; Sisters-in-law, Gail Pickle (Walter) of Middleton, TN; Cheryl Moore of Pickwick, TN; and Aunt Sammie Gilmer of Olive Branch. She was preceded in death by her parents Betty and William Connors and her Father-in-law John C. Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Debbie Moore to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
