Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Shella Denise Garner, 61, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 surrounded by her family. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch, MS) with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Brad Jordan of Dresden First United Methodist Church will officiate. Denise was born on October 19, 1960 in Memphis, TN. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree and became a Registered Nurse. Denise was a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and being with her family. Denise is survived by her husband, Danny Garner of Olive Branch; daughter, Candace Medlin of Olive Branch; son, Preston Garner of Olive Branch; her mother, Hermie Moore of Millington, TN; sister, Norma Owens of Millington, TN; grandchildren, Brittany Medlin, Cameron Medlin, Kinlee Medlin, Kelsee Medlin, and Haylea Garner; great-grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Aleigha Simms, and Ivy Jones. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Leroy Moore. Memorials can be made in honor of Denise Garner to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization (www.komen.org).
