Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Eva Maria Halley, 30, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, near her home in Tate County, MS. Born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, she had lived in the Senatobia area for twelve years. Ms. Halley was employed by the IRS as a tax examiner. She took satisfaction in many artistic endeavors, which included art, pottery, and jewelry making. Ms. Halley enjoyed outdoor activities, gardening, motorcycles, and boating. Spending time with family, friends and her pets was a source of pleasure to her. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, 295 Hwy. 7 North, Oxford, MS. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Tari and Mark Malone of Senatobia, MS; her father, Wayne L. Halley of Olive Branch, MS; her step-father, Thomas DiSalvo, Jr. of Harahan, LA; her sister, Tara Jackson of Gardena, CA; her grandfather, Clifford Strickland of Marrianna, FL; her grandmothers, Nancy Halley of Mt. Pleasant, MS and Lynn Hunt of Harahan, LA. Memorials may be made to any type animal care or animal rescue organization of the giver’s choice.
