Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch James Edward Harrell, 79, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. No services are scheduled at this time. James was born on March 17, 1942 in Dyersburg, TN. He loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved his family and was devoted to his wife, Sylvia, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 23, 2021. James is survived by his wife, Sylvia Linder Harrell of Olive Branch; daughter, Brenda Kay Voyles (Tony) of Como, MS, step daughters, Carolyn Watkins( Charles "Bud") of Olive Branch, Julie A Hatter of Olive Branch, Martha “Susie” Sayman of NY; sons, James “J.W.” Harrell (Jennifer) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, step son, Steven J. Humphrey of Olive Branch; granddaughters, Angelica “Jelly” Harrell and Melissa Harrell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Katie Sayman ,Tiffany Bonds Stovall of California, Stephanie Wilcox (Devin) of NY; grandsons, Kevin W. Voyles of Corinth, MS, Tony “TJ” L. Voyles, Jr. of Como, Brian and Josh Hatter (Stephanie) of Olive Branch, Anderson Watkins of Olive Branch, Brandon Humphrey of NY; twenty one great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack and Ricky Harrell (Gwen) of TN, Charles Harris of Bolivar, TN; sister, Donna Bratcher (Vernon) of Batesville, MS and a host of nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha May Moore Dexter and Ira J. Harrell; daughter, Sherry L. Harrell;; sisters, Evonne Harrell Hubbard, Anne Stegall; brother, Larry Harrell and step-mother, Rose Harrell and grandsons, James Sayman and Little Tommy Bonds.
