Mrs. Janice York Poppelreiter

Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Janice York Poppelreiter, 64, passed away June 17, 2022, in Memphis, TN. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 5pm to 6pm at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS, 38672). A memorial service will immediately follow at 6pm, also at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Al Canon will be officiating. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Janice was born July 8, 1957, in Memphis, TN. She worked for the IRS for over 38 years as a Customer Service Representative and very much enjoyed her job. She was married for 39 years to the love of her life, William, and they shared their loving daughter, Kristionna, and their fur-baby, Sweetie. Janice is remembered as being an extremely selfless woman. She was kind to everyone she came across and would give the shirt off her back for anyone who was in need. Her favorite role in life was being a grandmother, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved online shopping, especially for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach with her family. She was the center of so many lives and will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her. Janice is survived by her husband, William Poppelreiter of Hernando, MS; her daughter, Kristionna (Ryan) Beck of Coldwater, MS; her granddaughter, Adrionna Beck of Coldwater; her grandson, Nolan Beck of Coldwater; her brother, Charles York of Florida; her niece, Jamie Kay York of Horn Lake, MS; and her nephews, Chuck York of Olive Branch, MS and Jim (Mitzi) York of Florida. Janice was preceded in death by her father, Joel Mann York; her mother, Evelyn York; and her brother, James York.
