Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch James Thomas Lane, III, of Southaven, MS, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, in Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch, MS) with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Rev. Sam Jones, Associate Pastor of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. James Lane III was born on June 7, 1993 in Newburgh, NY. He loves his fiancée, Pam and his three children. Jimmy was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider. He loves and cherishes his TEMC family and all that rode with him. Jimmy died a man that achieved his goal of making his parents proud. He always had a smile, a contagious laugh and a big hug for all his family and friends. He was a graduate of Olive Branch High School, Class of 2011, and followed in his father's footsteps into the HVAC field. He started his career in the family business, Fast Lane Mechanical and is currently with Crowe Heating and Air, with a great group of men that became as close as family. Jimmy will be missed by all the lives he touched. Jimmy is survived by parents, Jennifer and James Thomas Lane, Jr of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Nicole Marie Lane of Olive Branch; fiancée, Pam Gean of Southaven; daughters, Averyanna and Layklynn Lane of Southaven; son, James Thomas Lane IV; grandmother, Jane (Joseph) Porubek of NY; grandfather, Gary (Debi) Lofrese of FL; grandmother, Cathie Lane of NY; uncles, Joseph (Deanna) Lofrese of NY, Terry (Janika) Lofrese of FL and Gary Lofrese of FL. Jimmy Lane III was met in heaven by his grandfather, James Thomas Lane, Sr, and his grandparents Kathy and Paul Liguori. In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials can be made in honor of James Thomas Lane III to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org).
