June 16, 1935 - April 15, 2022

Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Mrs. Madeline Miller Cooper, 86, passed away April 15, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven, MS. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethlehem Cemetery (3961 Church Rd., Nesbit, MS 38651). Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of the arrangements. Madeline was born June 16, 1935, in Memphis, TN. She was a very generous and loving woman. Her children and grandchildren were not only her pride and joy, but also the center of her universe. Her family describes her as being the most amazing woman that they have ever come into contact with; she was definitely one of a kind. Anyone that knew her, knew that her family was always her number one priority. Madeline was also described as a very loyal and hardworking woman. All that knew her, knew she would light up a room in a matter of seconds. Mrs. Madeline is survived by daughter, Jackie (Wilbert) Drost of Lake Cormorant, MS; her grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Lewis of Bartlett, TN, Caitlin Lewis of Lake Cormorant, and Bobby (Kenzi) Lewis of Walls, MS; three great-grandchildren, Tate Lewis and Harrison Lewis, both of Walls, and Alaina Lewis of Lake Cormorant; and one sister, Shirley Jamerson of Collierville, TN. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell Miller and Hazel Langston Miller; her late husband, Jack Cooper; her spouse, Dickey Williams; and five brothers, Arthur Miller, Alvis Miller, Robert Miller, Ralph Miller, and James Miller. Donations and memorial contributions in honor of Mrs. Madeline Cooper may be made to American Cancer Society by mailing donations to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or online at www.donate3.cancer.org. Online condolences may be left on her Tribute Wall at www.colemanfuneralhome.com.
