Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Martha Joy Lemons Joyner, 64, passed away in Tupelo, MS, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., also at The Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Interment will be at The Bethlehem Church of Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery. Bishop Steve Wilson and Pastor John Vazquez will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. Martha was born to A.Q. and Bernice Lemons in Potts Camp, MS. Martha is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Ansel Joyner III; four sons, Teddy Joyner (Abbey), Tracy Joyner, Trevor Joyner (Alice), and Brian Joyner (Ann) all of Cornersville, MS; two daughters, Brandy Courson (Brian) of Hickory Flat, MS, and Lori Siddall (Derek) of New Albany, MS; two sisters, Barbara Lemons of Bethlehem, MS, and Judi Fox (Ron) of Olive Branch, MS; two brothers, Don Lemons (Jan) of Potts Camp, MS, and Layne Lemons of Bethlehem, MS; eleven grandchildren, Jessica, April, Karma, Chelsea, Amber, T.J., Cody, Kros, Breanna, Grayce, and Grayson; and three great grandchildren, Delta Kate, Paisley Brooke, and Lanceton. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, A.Q. and Bernice Lemons; and one sister, Beverly Watson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B-Free Addiction Recovery Program at Bethlehem Church. Joy had a heart to help others recover from addiction.
