Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Matthew Patrick Lingle, 36, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Friday, June 3, 2022. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS 38654). A service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Nesbit (1645 Hwy. 51 N Nesbit, MS 38651). Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery (5826 College Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). Dr. John Mahony will officiate. Matt was born on May 6, 1986 in Memphis, TN. He received his Master of Medicine from Christian Brothers University and was a Physician Assistant. He was kind-hearted and devoted his time to his patients. Matt had a five star rating among all his patients and they loved him dearly. He tutored online medical students and was always open to being a preceptor to students and letting them shadow. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Nesbit. Matt was also involved with Young Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and with the Bellevue youth group. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing, turkey hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. Matt will be truly missed. Matt is survived by his parents, Rodney and Gail Lingle; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his best friends, Daniel and Robin Henderson. Matt was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Nathan Lingle.
