Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Rick L. Johnson, 47, of Olive Branch, MS passed away February 1, 2021. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery (8691 Bethel Road, Olive Branch) Pastor Ryan Vanderford of Hope Chapel and Pastor Travis Montgomery of New Life Tabernacle will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements. Rick was born on February 4, 1973 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He liked riding motorcycles, playing golf, and was interested in guns and ammunition. Rick was overall just a simple man that loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoying the simple things in life. Rick enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes in the kitchen, and loved to cook for others. During the holidays, everyone looked forward to his buffalo chicken dip and his pepper jelly. Rick is survived by his wife, Lynsay Johnson of Olive Branch, MS; daughter, Gabriella “Ella” Johnson of Olive Branch; mother, Doris McCollum of Coldwater, MS; sister, Debbie (Don) Tribble of Coldwater, MS; brother, Joel Johnson of San Marcos, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
