Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven Mr. Robert Lee Huckaby passed away Friday, July 1st, 2022, in Southaven, MS. A visitation will be held for Robert on Thursday, July 7th, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road, East, Southaven, MS, 38672). A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Brother Andy Savage will be officiating and interment will be at Desoto Memorial Gardens (630 Star Landing Rd E, Southaven, MS 38672). Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements. Robert Lee Huckaby was born August 20, 1948, in Oxford, MS. He grew up a die-hard Rebel Fan, so much so that he named his beloved dog Rebel. However, Ole Miss came only second to his family who he adored. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he was a dedicated father and husband. He was an amazing family man and always put them first. Robert was a very lively, happy and energetic person; and loved putting a smile on others’ faces. Robert Lee Huckaby is survived by his wife, Monnie A. Huckaby of Southaven; his step-daughter, Adrienne Ray of Southaven; his step-sons, George Kirkland of Southaven and Patrick (Kelly) Kirkland of Tyro, MS; his mother, Katherine Huckaby of Oxford; his granddaughters, Angel Kirkland, Hailey Ray, and Faith Kirkland; his grandsons, Cody Kirkland and Ethan Ray; and his brother, Ronald Huckaby of Oxford. Mr. Huckaby was preceded in death by his father, Dean Huckaby; and his first wife, Kathy Huckaby.
