Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Ruben DeLeon Lopez, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. (6815 Parkview Blvd., Olive Branch) A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memphis Memorial Gardens in Bartlett, TN. Mr. Lopez was a real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury Realtors since 2003. During his real estate career, he was awarded with several honors in customer service with his clients. In his leisure time, he was involved in many sports activities with his children and Boy Scouts of America as a Scout Master. Ruben was so devoted to his family and always willing to do whatever they needed. He was a true Texas team fan, however his favorite was the Cowboys, Spurs, and Astros. He was very involved in all community charities, especially those that involved our first responders. Ruben volunteered helping the homeless and was a very caring and loving man. He is survived by his wife, Kay Lopez of Byhalia, MS; son, Jesse Jonathan (Felicia) Lopez of Olive Branch, MS; daughter, Jessica (JW) Cotter of Byhalia; son, Ethan Tanner (Hannah) Lopez of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Ethan Lopez and Jaxson Lopez of Olive Branch; brothers, Adolfo (Maureen) Lopez of San Antonio, TX, Roland Lopez of Pearland, TX and Hector Klein of Houston, TX; sisters, Rosabell Lopez of Houston and Rosalie Lopez of Houston. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Lopez; one sister and five brothers.
