Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Ruby Ethel Jones, 94, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford, MS. Born in Union County, MS, she had lived in the Denmark community the majority of her life. Mrs. Jones had worked in the garment industry for many years and retired from Kellwood Corporation in Oxford. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and was an avid reader. Mrs. Jones attended Shiloh Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Cary Worthington officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Suszek of Oxford, MS; three sons, Ronald Jones of Thaxton, MS and Jerrel Jones and Milton Jones, both of Oxford, MS; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Her parents, Martin and Mary Moody, her husband, David P. Jones, a son, Bertis Jones and a daughter, Mary Frances Roberts, preceded Mrs. Jones in death.
