Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Shirley “Connie” Broadway Conner, 84, of Southaven, MS passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Lebanon Cemetery (8691 Bethel Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). Rev. Al Canon, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church - Southaven, will officiate. Connie was born on June 11, 1938 in Coldwater, MS. She enjoyed growing flowers and always kept her flower bed perfect. Connie loved spending time with her family, but cherished her grandchildren beyond all. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. Connie is survived by her sons, Roy “Nick” Conner (Cynthia) of Olive Branch, Mike Conner of Southaven, Jason R. Conner (Tonya) of Southaven; daughter, Jennifer Sanders (Kris) of Holly Springs; grandsons, Blake Conner of Memphis, Kyle Conner of Olive Branch, Ryan Conner of Olive Branch, Conner McLaughlin of Southaven, Caden McLaughlin of Southaven; granddaughters, Chloe Sanders of Starkville, Ashton Davis (Steven) of Nesbit, Reagan Conner of Southaven, Kendall Conner of Southaven; sister, Betty Simmons of Greenville, AL; and brother, Larry Broadway (Bessie) of Hernando. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy N. Conner; daughter, Kimberly Conner; parents, Howard and Maggie Broadway; and nine brothers and sisters.
