Tony Allan McCallum Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Tony Allan McCallum, 52, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 Cornerstone Church (5998 Elmore Road, Southaven, MS) for a celebration of Tony’s life beginning at 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tony was born on October 23, 1969, in Memphis, TN. He was a jack of all trades. Tony and his wife, Becca, opened their own companies, Mid-America Safety Services, LLC. and Dark Horse Krav Maga, which included self-defense training, tactical defense and gun safety classes, NREMT and NAEMT classes, paramedic continuing education, and refresher courses. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsmen and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Tony was a retired firefighter, paramedic and a member of the Krav Maga Association. He was also a member of Cornerstone Church, where he was a Lifegroup leader and involved with Discipleship Walk. Tony enjoyed vacations and impromptu trips. He loved God, family, and his country. Tony adored his daughters and being a daddy. He was a jokester and also enjoyed teaching, helping other people being able to save lives, the brotherhood of the fire department and EMS. Tony was loved by many and will be truly missed. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Rebecca Mae McCallum of Olive Branch; daughters, Emmalyn Cornelius, Alaira Cornelius, Jessie McCallum, Mckenna McCallum; mother, Brenda Burkeen (Jim) of Olive Branch; and sister, Judy Carol Hall (Wade) of Jackson, TN. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Culley McCallum; sister, Teresa McCallum; brothers, Gene McCallum and Buddy McCallum and Baby Bird McCallum. In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Tony Allan McCallum to Discipleship Walk through Cornerstone Church (https://cornerstoneliving.churchcenter.com/giving). In honor of Tony McCallum's service to our country, the flag of the United States Navy will be flown at Coleman Funeral Home the day of the services.
