Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Tyson Clark Littlejohn, age 67, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Mr. Littlejohn had lived in the Oxford area his entire life. He served on the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors for 28 years, was a member of the Three Rivers Planning & Development Board for over 30 years and, in 1985, was selected the Man of the Year by the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce. He had also been a building contractor and a storeowner. Mr. Littlejohn was a member of the Bay Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008, 12:00 n – 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Singleton officiating. Interment will be in the Cambridge Cemetery, CR 202, Abbeville, MS. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Littlejohn of Oxford, MS; two daughters, Shannon Henry of Selmer, TN and Jane Anderson of Oxford, MS; one son, Dr. John Littlejohn of Clemson, SC; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Bay Springs Church Building Fund, 21 CR 265, Abbeville, MS 38601.
