Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford Wanda Suzanne Young, 59, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a service following at 2:00 p.m., at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Etta, MS (465 CR 255 Etta, MS 38627). A procession will lead to the graveside service following, at North Oxford Cemetery (304 CR 101, Oxford, MS 38655). Bro. Bobby Irvin will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Suzanne was born to the late Ross and Sue Taylor Lindsey. She was described as a family woman who valued her involvement in the lives of her loved ones and cherished her time spent with each of them. Outside of her family life, Suzanne was instilling her influence of knowledge upon the young people she enjoyed teaching. Suzanne was remembered by her family for her love of the Lord and her attentive involvement in the church. She leaves behind the memories of her days spent fishing or gardening, along with her love of pets. Suzanne will be missed by all those she touched within her time spent here with us. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Bobby Young, of Etta, MS; her sons, Justin Robert Young, of Houston, TX, and William (Natalie) Young, of Oxford, MS; her grandchildren, Olivia Young, and Emma Young, of Oxford, MS; and her siblings, Larry Lindsey and Stacy Lindsey. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Sue Taylor Lindsey; and her brother, Terry Lindsey.
