Coleman Funeral Home Olive Branch David Wayne Curtis, 83, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch, MS). Pastor Barry Baker will officiate. Interment in Autumn Woods Memorial Park in Olive Branch, MS. Wayne was born on July 2, 1938 in MS. He was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. Wayne was on the Memphis Fire Department for 30 years and he owned Curtis Heating and Air Conditioning. He was very devoted to his family and Elsie, the love of his life, for 62 years. He was a sweet, funny, hardworking husband, father and Ginga and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Wayne is survived by his wife, Elsie Curtis of Olive Branch, MS; daughters, Vicki C. Hornsby (John) of Hernando, MS, Traci C. Skinner (Ray) of Rolla, MO, Tammi C. Anderson (Bill) of Olive Branch; granddaughters, Jennifer Duett of Memphis and Brooke Hornsby (Ty Davis) of Olive Branch; grandsons, Will Anderson and Taylor Ray Anderson of Olive Branch; sister, Tommie Curtis Isom of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Myrtle Mangrum Curtis and Winfield Curtis; brothers, Lamar, Olen and Jimmy Curtis.
