William "Billy" Hart

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch William “Billy” Brockman Hart, 69, of Byhalia, MS, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. The family will not be having a funeral service, per his wishes, but will have a memorial service to honor him at a later time. Billy was born on June 9, 1952 in Memphis, TN. He served in the Special Forces in Vietnam. Billy received the Sharpshooter award for the M16 rifle and the National Defense Service Medal award. He loved being near the ocean. Billy liked fishing, camping, spending time with his family and his grandbabies. He loved anything outdoors but guns and cigars were his favorite things. According to his daughter, Elizabeth, he was the greatest man she ever knew. Billy is survived by his wife, Nola Hart of Byhalia, MS; daughter, Elizabeth Hart of Byhalia; sons, Michael Brockman Hart (Lisa) of Collierville, TN, William Dover (Paige), Aaron Dover (Holly) and Brandon Hart (Anna) of Byhalia; ten grandchildren, Nicolas, Zoey, Thomas, Emma, Molly, Isabella, Hazel, Macie, Connor, Hudson; honorary son, Greg Hart (Lori) of Moscow, TN; sister, Clare Fountain(Robert) of Covington, TN; brother, Tommy Hart (Shirel) of Moscow and sister-in-law, Debbie Dickey of McCarley, MS, and seven nieces and nephews.
